An Impossible Perspective is the Lincoln Street elevation of the Perrone-Steves residence in Savannah, GA. Commissioned in January of 2015. The photograph “type” is a linear panoramic wherein the camera is moved along a parallel line to the building face to positions corresponding to the building corners, window and door mullions, etc. These “shoot positions” are then manually stitched, blended, together to produce a composition similar to an architect’s elevation drawing…which is essentially an impossible perspective.
